The Christmas Eve Celebration at CF was a miracle night for so many. What we learned in the process will change a key component to our Grand opening Sunday.
With “1year2live” before our church stopped and turned off the lights we decided to do something radical. Our church decided to make a comeback. It started with just a few small changes.
Christmas Eve Miracles & Modifications!
Who’s coming to your church this Sunday?
Recently i got a new revelation of how important it is for every sunday to be a big sunday. Not only does it matter for those who will come but also to those whose lives will be touched by those who came. There is a powerful connection that goes much further than those who attend to possibly thousands that will be impacted by the lives of those who have come. Never underestimate the importance of each Sunday; it transcends the building, the moment and the people in attendance. I received this letter from a man recently that attended one of our services at Christ Fellowship.
Hi Pastor Moore,
Sorry this a little late. My name is Jeff Brace. My family(Karen, Rachel, and Andrew ) were in the Tampa area Dec 19th and worshiped at Christ Fellowship.
I first learned about Christ Fellowship in a blog post by Ed Stetzer. I was fascinated with the ministry that is going on. I had to see it for myself.
I am involved in church planting and revitalization in Northern Illinois with the United Methodist denomination.
I applaud you and your team. From the time we were greeted approaching the building till we left for our long journey home, we felt welcomed and at home.
I was very impressed with the assimilation process that you talk about in one of your video’s. I believe her name was ‘Sharon” at the welcome table was extremely cordial in welcoming and it was at this point were we filled out the visitor card. The other opportunities were also well explained during the service. The follow -up with an email and the letter were great.
I felt energy, excitement and momentum for what God has in store for Christ Fellowship. God’s up to something in Central Florida.
I’ll be be praying for your ministry.
In Christ,
Jeff
When we were planning the service we weren’t thinking that it’s impact would be felt in churches in northern illinois. We should have been! Our Thanks jeff, Karen, Rachel, and Andrew for your encouragement but also for reminding us that the gospel and great preparation is essential for making a long term impact.
